Aren’t both of the following universal truths?
1.“The angles in a triangle add up to 180º.”
2.“Water boils at 212º Fahrenheit at sea level.”
Hume:
The first is a universal truth, but does not express knowledge of reality.The second is not known to be a universal truth. For all we know it could be proved false.
